Spanish Castile Goat Milk
In the fifteenth century, in the stately kingdom of Castile, the Spanish people crafted a unique soap that distinguished itself for its rare antiseptic, astringent, and ultra-emollient properties. The soap was mild, effectively expelled dirt and kissed moisture into the Spaniards’ weather-beaten skin. Held against the sun, the soap glowed like a luminous medallion, and was prized by the Spanish royalty for its pure white colour and rich abundance of olive oil.
